Adam Shaw is a Leith’s trained chef and Dad of 2 boys (3 & 1) who specialises in colourful and healthy pregnancy, weaning and family friendly recipes. He has helped thousands of people around the world to eat well during this exhausting time and his debut cookbook ‘How to Grow your Family’ will be released in March 2022.
When Adam’s wife became pregnant for the first time he couldn’t wait to start making healthy and nutritious food for mother and unborn baby. He found a lot of the advice out there to be quite passive (don’t eat shark, eat some greens) so he started creating trimester specific recipes for his wife to accompany her pregnancy. Focussing on what you can have, rather than what you can’t Adam believes in using food as a way to make you feel good and positive about yourself, rather than the opposite.
Since his boys were born Adam also began to focus on weaning and family food recipes. He is a regular industry speaker, has been nominated for several awards and has appeared frequently in the media.
